We all know Senoia has made a name for itself on the big screen with some pretty recognizable human actors. But did you know our town is also home to furry four-legged celebrities as well?
Meet Beam and Finn — two male Boxer brothers who have quietly (and not so quietly) built quite the following. With more than 100,000 followers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat, these boys are the main characters of Southern_Boxer_World — and yes, they absolutely know it. Of course, fame has its challenges. Trips to the dog park can quickly turn into meet-and-greets. Other pups gather around, curious about influencer life. Requests for Paw-tographs at every turn… the stardom is real.
David and Shayla Quinn got Beam in Pittsburgh, TN (even dogs are transplanting to our community) in January of 2020. Over the years the Quinn's have welcomed six boxers into their home, with one rule: their name must start with a "B."
Beam, a Senoia resident, was the first born of the litter and Finn, who lives down the road in Newnan, born last, the next day — biological brothers with different birthdays. All boxers are a bit quirky, with wiggly butts requiring lots of attention — you'd think these two lived every minute in a twerking contest. Boxers are considered the clowns of the canine world.
Whether they're filming new content, or hanging out for a backyard BBQ, these two love to swim! Though just as their birthdays fall on different days, their personalities fall into different categories. Beam loves the attention, anything for a reaction, he's underwater, deep diving, while Finn, slightly more laid back, can be found circling the top of the water. When not swimming, Beam can be found cruising Main Street on the back of his golf cart, entertaining fans, stopping for photo ops and chin scratches.
When the glitz and glamour becomes too much, the boys retreat to their backyard — which, naturally, leads to more videos, more laughs, and more fans. It's a cycle they don't seem to mind.
Beam and Finn may be social media stars, but at heart they're still Senoia dogs — loyal, playful, and happiest with their family.
And if you happen to see them riding through town, just remember… you're in the presence of local celebrities.
