In 2014, Valerie Gardner and her daughter, Victoria, took what would become their final trip together to Orange Beach. During that time, they spent hours talking about the future and imagining a business they could build together. They envisioned a market that would offer quality food, support local vendors, and create a welcoming place where people could gather and connect. What started as conversations on a beach soon became a shared dream and a plan for the future.
In 2016, Valerie experienced the unimaginable loss of Victoria. While the grief was overwhelming, the dream they had created together remained close to her heart. Rather than letting it fade away, Valerie made the courageous decision to carry it forward. TLC Market became more than a business—it became a way to honor Victoria's memory and continue the vision they had created together.
After years of planning, hard work, and determination, TLC Market opened its first location in Sharpsburg in 2019. Customers quickly embraced the market's homemade foods, fresh ingredients, and welcoming atmosphere. It became known as a place where people could find quality products while feeling like part of a community.
In December 2024, TLC Market found its home in downtown Senoia. Today, the market offers homemade favorites including chicken salad, chicken pot pie, lasagna, shepherd's pie, fresh sandwiches, homemade salads, local meats, seasonal produce, and products from regional vendors.
More than a neighborhood market, TLC Market is a gathering place built on family, community, and purpose. Every meal prepared, every customer welcomed, and every local partnership formed reflects the values that inspired the business from the beginning.
