During COVID, Dee Thomas and a close friend kept a standing Thursday night tradition — Zoom smoke sessions when the world had shut everything else down. One night his friend told him straight: you need to open your own lounge. Dee sat with the idea, prayed on it, and in 2020 took a leap of faith and opened his first location in Newnan. It grew faster than he ever expected. Private parties, festivals, events — and then a message from the Senoia Farmers' Market asking if he'd set up on Saturdays. He said yes. And every Saturday, customers told him the same thing: they wished he had a shop in downtown Senoia. A few months later, someone approached him at the market with an available space and an offer. Dee brought it home, prayed over it with his family, and called his close friend Brian Hampton. Brian said yes. They hit the ground running. Sip & Cigar Senoia has been open since late September 2022 — and it hasn't looked back.
Dee is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, and the values he carried out of that service — leadership, camaraderie, and taking care of the people around you — are woven into every corner of this lounge.
