Senoia Welcome Center

Senoia Welcome Center

Before downtown Senoia became the destination it is today, someone had to lay the groundwork. In 2002, the City of Senoia established the Downtown Development Authority with a clear mission: revitalize the heart of town and give local businesses a fighting chance to thrive. Thirteen years later, that mission got a front door — the Senoia Welcome Center opened at 68 Main Street in 2015, right as the town's profile was rising on the national stage thanks to The Walking Dead turning Senoia's streets into Woodbury for millions of viewers worldwide.

What started as planning, quietly became one of the most welcoming stops in all of downtown. Walk through the Welcome Center door and you're greeted by staff or volunteers who genuinely want you to feel at home — there's a snack, a bottle of water, and a conversation waiting. Filming memorabilia lines the shelves alongside Senoia-branded merchandise and one-of-a-kind items you won't find anywhere else. Walking Dead fans come looking for the town behind the show. They leave knowing there's a whole lot more to discover.

Here's something most people don't know: the DDA operates under the name "Enjoy Senoia" on social media — and that name isn't accidental. "Enjoy" and "Senoia" rhyme, and it was chosen specifically to help visitors learn how to say the town's name correctly. Small detail, big intentionality.

Stop in and say hello. And while you're at it, check out enjoysenoia.com — every downtown business, every upcoming event, all in one place.
