Senoia Coffee has been a downtown institution since David and Suzanne Pengelly founded it in 2000 — one of the longest-running businesses on Main Street. Brent and April Anderson found their way to those corner tables the way a lot of people do: looking for community. They spent countless hours there networking, building ministry relationships, and partnering with the Pengellys on shared work in the community. In 2016, the Andersons stepped into ownership with a shared passion for creating connection and community through Senoia Coffee — and this year marks ten years of making it their own.
Hospitality isn't a strategy at Senoia Coffee — it's the foundation. Every decision, from the menu to the atmosphere to the way a first-time guest is greeted, flows from a genuine belief that people deserve to feel welcomed like old friends. Brent roasts every batch of coffee in-house himself. The kitchen runs on fresh, locally sourced ingredients from nearby bakeries and local farms. And the menu now stretches from a full breakfast through lunch and into evening service — flatbread, charcuterie, a glass of wine, good conversation. Senoia Coffee also shares its space with local vendors Sunset on Main and C Street Bakery, making it one of the most complete stops in all of downtown.
Through the pandemic, a relocation, and six months closed during a buildout, this community stood by them every step of the way.
